Walker showed on 12-16 at Northwest Obedience Club Show in Cary, IL.
In Utility B he had a score of 196.5.
In Open B his score was a 199, 1st place.
He also earned High in Trial & High Combined.

WOW, what a weekend!
I had Temora bred dogs all over the place this weekend, hard to keep up with everyone!

At the GA shows, Rafe (CH Temora I Will Be King), owned by Carla Harbour finished his AKC Championship on Thursday and then went BOB on Friday and Sunday.

At the same show, Bandit (Temora Steal My Heart) owned by Dana Radman Kruetzfeldt was WD/BW on Friday and Sunday for both his majors, he just needs singles now to finish!

In KY, Reggie (GCH CH Temora Rhythm And Blues) owned by Nancy Webb Tibbett was showing and took a Group 1-2-3 on the different days!

In MN, Stryker (Temora Strike While The Iron Is Hot) owned by Marvyl Grinney was WD/BW for the points on both Sat & Sun.
He is a young dog out of Mac-Rory and is coming along nicely.

Tera (BOSS GCH CH Temora Southern Comfort) owned by Judy O'Brien was BOS both days at MN as well.

In Australia, Troy (AM CH Temora Remember Me) owned by Leanne Boote, was BOB 2 of the 3 days at the show he was at.

Volt (AM CH Temora High Voltage) owned by Steph Nicholson was Reserve CC and runner up to BOB at the show he was at. A snafu however with armbands cancelled those wins, but he still held his own at his first shows!

Good weekend for Temora! I am a very proud and grateful breeder to all my wonderful friends and family that have dogs from my breeding program!

Fun weekend for the Temora gang!
In OH, Nancy Tibbett, Reggie and Levi played for the day.
We are still teaching Levi to walk properly and not jump around like a banshee, she is getting it!
In Nebraksa at the Grand Island show Jackie and Bacon won the Group on Sunday and took RESERVE BEST IN SHOW!
This is Bacon's 4th Reserve, very proud and happy!

In Alabama, Reggie (CH Temora Rhythm and Blues) was showing.
Out of the 4 day show he won the breed 3 of the 4 days and a HUGE Group 2 on Friday!
Redi (BOSS GCH CH Temora Redi When You Are) was at the Paper Cities show in WI
Saturday she won the breed over the dog special and took a Group 2!
Sunday she won the breed again and took a Group 3!
Tera (BOSS CH Temora Southern Comfort) was at the DeKalb shows and was BOS each day
Water (CH Temora When In Doubt Wear Red) was at the shows in MI and won the breed each day as well.

AKC National Obedience Championship
PERRY, GA ~ March 25-26, 2017

The top 25 dogs are selected to attend the event based on Obedience Trial Championship (OTCH) points earned from December 1st, 2015 through November 30th, 2016.
In addition, the top three dogs of each breed, ranked by OTCH points, will also be invited.

CH Temora Keeping Stride UDX3 OM4 GO GN was the only Australian Terrier that qualified & was invited.

Walker & Cindy did Temora kennels & Australian Terriers proud by ranking 2nd in the nation in the terrier group for obedience.

So very proud of this team!
CONGRATULATIONS to both of them!

We had minimal points which broke when the other entry left after the first day, but it was good experience for Levi and Rafe as they both are very new to showing.

I have had emails from people in regards to Bacon and why he was not at Westminster this year or why he has not been out much in the show ring. So instead of answering all these emails, I am just going to put it out there.

Bacon does NOT need to prove himself anymore.
He has proven himself in the show ring with numerous awards & titles and he has also proven himself in the whelping box with his offspring.
He has already reached his ROM EX, but I am waiting until the end of this year to put in for the title.
His offspring are not only of my breeding, but of other Breeders as well!
He will spot show this year, and that is all he will be doing.

In my humble opinion as a Breeder, it is NOT about staying with one dog forever, for years on end.
It is about finding that next one and moving forward.
As a Breeder, if you do not have anything to move forward with, then what is the purpose?
That said, for those wondering, I fully support those Owners/Breeders/Handlers that keep their dogs out year after year.
Why?
Because if it is all they have, and if they have nothing else to show, WHY NOT?!
It is just not something that I wish to do nor need to do as what I have coming up, is just as good if not better.

Bacon is fine.
He is healthy and sound. (Yes, the rumor mill is churning as to why he is not out showing)
So please, don't worry about my boy, you will see him out there, just not as much.

Once again Temora Aussies made the trek to New York to compete at the prestigious Westminster Kennel Club show.
This time around Redi (BOSS GCH CH Temora Redi When You Are) represented the kennel and my breeding program.
Of note however, there were another 2 dogs with Temora connections!
Little Man (BIS RBIS GCHS CH Blue Moon Boston Pops) who is out of Miley (CH Temora Blue Moon Pop Star) and Barley (CH The Farms Fine Whine And Spirits) who's sire is Bacon (BIS RBIS BISS GCHS CH Temora Say It With Bacon) were also entered for the day.
So in an entry of 10 Australian Terriers, we had good representation across the board.

CH Temora Keeping Stride UDX3 OM3 GO GN

Walker & Cindy showed at the Janesville-Beloit show held in Loves Park, IL.
They showed 6 times in 2 days.

On Saturday Walker got a 192 & 4th place in Utility B and a 196.5 in Open B. This gave him his 30th UDX leg which means he now has his UDX3 title.

On Sunday, in the 1st trial Walker received a 196.5 & 3rd place in Open B & a 194.5 & 3rd place in Utility B. And in the 2nd trial a 198.5 & 2nd place in Open B & a 193 & 2nd place in Utility B.
