Temora Australian Terriers
Rescue

Part of my Owning and Breeding Australian Terriers was realizing that in doing so, I also needed to help out when
and where I could in other areas.

As of 2008, I am now the Midwest Rescue Coordinator for Wisconsin, Iowa & Minnesota.

If you are interested in adopting an Australian Terrier through Rescue visit their website at: www.australianterrierrescue.org.

This is a nonprofit organization and they rely on donations to keep the program running. To find out more on how
to make a donation to the organization or to become a Foster Home, please contact:

Quade is not with Australian Terrier Rescue, but with Blind Dog Rescue
We are all United in helping to find him his forever home

Quade is a happy little man, about 8 years old. Though completely blind, he
is very alert and really uses his sense of hearing...he doesn't have those adorable pricked ears for nothing!
He will "look" up at you when you are standing close by, wanting to figure out where you will go next and
if he can come...or if you might offer him a dog treat, one of his favorite things! He is highly food motivated,
and while not food aggressive, he will go for food and clamp onto anything that comes with it that he might
not be able to see...so might not be a good choice around small children. He will come to you when called, or as
close to you as he can estimate, and comes wagging his tail. He loves head and butt rubs and will lean his
head into your hand if you spend the time. He rides quietly in the car. And so far has been very good with the
dogs that he has met, cats are unknown at this point. He is learning that is ok to settle and fall asleep in
someone's lap, and seems to be happy for the experience. He really enjoyed the first bath that he
received after leaving the shelter, even falling asleep during the shampoo massage! He does have
dry eye and will be making a trip to the vet's for a full exam this coming week. He is a pretty easy going boy
that would really love a forever home soon! This is a courtesy post for Blind Dog Rescue Alliance.
If you are interested in Quade, please fill out an application at http://www.blinddogrescue.com.
